Nobody campaigned on it when asking for your vote of confidence to make decisions on mill rates, zoning and infrastructure spending but I’ll be darned if you didn’t elect a council that could give Maroon 5 and Ariana Grande a run for their money if push came to shove ;)
At the conclusion of last night’s council meeting, his worship Mayor Rick Chrest was joined by your councillors in a rendition of Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer which the folks at the city have been good enough to include in their regular posting of video from council meetings. The video below starts at the point in the meeting where the fun begins, but I wouldn’t hold it against you if you rewound to the start to catch the meeting in its entirety to get up to speed on decisions being made on your behalf:
Whether you agree or disagree with decisions any given rep has partaken in the short time since this council has been sworn in, it’s great to see everyone having a little fun in the spirit of the season after a lengthy two hour meeting!
