A section of Brandon’s 18th street that is currently undergoing much change will soon see another business setup shop after it was learned that a new takeout and delivery pizza restaurant will soon be opening its first Wheat City location.
Red Swan Pizza, which associates with itself the tagline “Always Fresh, Always Hand Tossed”, notes on its website a Brandon location coming later this year. The address is said to be 1122 18th Street Unit D, which matches that of the Robinson Mall and the Unit previously occupied by Courtney’s Cake Creations prior to its move to another location.
A recent job posting in the eBrandon classifieds for line cook/prep cook asks that applicants have an understanding of building 41 different kinds of pizza.
Robinson Mall has been an island of calm on a busy section of 18th street, with construction being well underway on a new TD Bank location in the city just to the North and a new Holiday Express hotel to the South.
Red Swan Pizza has 22 locations in Saskatchewan, Alberta and Ontario with several additional upcoming openings listed in those provinces as well as British Columbia. A second Manitoba franchise in Winnipeg is also listed as coming soon.
Courtney’s Cake Creations is now located at 108162 Patricia Avenue.
