On the eve of kiddos heading back to class for another year, drivers will once again be asked to drive with extra caution on roads bordering our places of learning.
Brandon Police used the opportunity late last week to remind drivers of the impending change back to school season rules:
On a check with Police I understand via a spokesperson that September will bring enforcement initiatives around school zones including focuses on speed, school buses, no parking and no stopping zones.
Officially if youâre reading this on Sunday youâll have one more day to adjust, with the 30 km/hr maximum speed being in effect Monday through Friday between the hours of 8am and 5pm.
The Brandon School Division is comprised of 22 schools, 19 of which are located within the City of Brandon. Classes are to officially start on Wednesday.
