As summer comes to an end and Brandon’s seasonal ice cream spots eye the upcoming transition to fall, Mother Nature has a gift in store starting this weekend in what’s very possibly the last run of hot weather for 6ish months. Following Saturday’s Environment Canada forecast high of 21 degrees are scorchers of 28, 31(!!) and 29 respectively over Sunday, Monday and Tuesday... a stretch that’s likely to turn a lot of folks to their old friend ice cream for a last cool down or two before the great outdoors offer up all the chill one could ask for.
