The results are in and out of eleven creations by Brandon restaurants, a winner has been crowned in the second annual Burger Brawl presented by Assiniboine Community College and the Brandon Sun.
The Dock Burger, a creation of downtown eatery The Dock on Princess, received the most votes in an online ballot that had been created by the Sun.
The restaurant took the time this morning to thank folks that took the time to vote:
The Dock Burger, which has been on the restaurant's menu for seven years and counting, goes for $16.50 including a side.
Coming in second place was the 204 Burger from Joe Beeverz. Last yearâs winner was Bennyâs Restaurant and Catering for its Chorizo burger.
In a story announcing this yearâs results in today's Brandon Sun, it was shared that this year saw 798% more votes than 2018âs âBrawl.â In the same story thereâs already talk of bringing the contest back next year, which is something I hope as many restaurants as possible consider putting their hat in the ring for considering how much fun these kinds of contests are for customers and businesses alike!
