A popular local fundraiser coupon book is back for another year.
The Assiniboine Kiwanis Coupon Book features a total of 42 coupons from 34 local restaurants, all of the Buy-One-Get-One (BOGO) nature. At a cost of $15 for a book, text on its cover indicates $400 in value between the various offers. Examples of the 42 offers include buy one lunch entree, receive one free at Lady of the Lake; buy one, get one free yogurt at Tutti Frutti; buy one meal, get a second free at 34th Street Bar and Grill.

Some offers come with terms such as requiring the purchase of a beverage or usage on certain days of the week. Coupons are valid from January 2 to December 30, 2020.
The Kiwanis book is regularly the subject of questions in the discussion forums, including a recent query this past week as to its availability. Sales are done as a fundraiser in support of Kiwanis projects locally and around the city. Examples include the Meals on Wheels program, the Terrific Kids program in local schools as well as four $1000 University Scholarships.
2020 will mark the 26th year for the book, with 1500 in total printed for the coming year. Last year saw all 1500 sold.
