A Westman-based group of Tim Hortons locations is one bigger with news that local franchisees Greg Cristanti and Rhonda Pardy have acquired and today assumed operations of Dauphin’s Tims location.
Pardy and Cristanti are franchisees for all five of Tims’ Brandon restaurants as well as locations in Virden, Neepawa and Moosomin, making Dauphin number nine.
In a chat today about welcoming Dauphin to the fold, Cristanti emphasized the importance of being involved locally in the Dauphin community and meeting customers between membership in the local Chamber of Commerce, banking locally and involvement in local events. Customers in the community should expect no drastic changes.
The first of the now nine restaurants was opened in Brandon in November 2001 with the Trans Canada location following six months later. An additional Brandon location is in the works at the intersection of 1st Street and Richmond Avenue which at last report was hopeful for a Spring start to construction.
