The long road back from May 2018’s disastrous fire took the biggest of steps on Monday with news that Christie’s Office Plus has moved to their brand new Brandon facility.
Part and parcel to that move were the first outgoing shipments both to customers in Brandon as well as outside of the city from its new 22,500 square foot warehouse that had during December seen the assembly of shelving and then in recent days stocking of those shelves with the plethora of products that the retailer stocks.

Though the new location at 1300 Richmond Avenue East is now open for local pickups of orders, work remains to be done prior to fully opening the walk-in retail side of the business. According to Christie's General Manager Travis Chastko, the store's furniture showroom is nearly ready with an intended opening of later this week. The retail side of the business has a target opening of late January to early February. For those curious to see what the retail aspect of Christie's will offer over and above pickup or
delivery orders, I'd recommend waiting until that time when they are up and going.

In anticipation of retail opening, Christie’s will be hiring additional staff early in the new year.
On May 19, 2018 a downtown fire claimed several buildings including Christies’ Pacific Avenue home and other downtown buildings. Following that time the business temporarily re-located to 800 Rosser Avenue in the Town Centre, a location they sent their last shipment from on Wednesday before beginning their move on Thursday.
Construction had begun on the new Richmond East building this past Spring. Hours maintained in their new digs are Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm.
