A locally founded business synonymous with clothing in Westman has seen its time the city come to and end after just over three decades of operation.
North Shore Outfitters closed the doors of its Brandon location this morning after a final day of business on Sunday, ending a run that begin in the city’s Shoppers Mall in 1989.
In a statement on the closure, ownership thanked the community for all of its support over the years:
North Shore Outfitters continues to maintain two additional locations in Saskatoon and Regina. A previous Clear Lake store had been closed in 2016. On Monday, signage could be seen in the window of the Brandon location thanking the area for its support over the 30 years. Product from the Brandon store was in the process on Monday morning of being packed up to be re-routed to the Saskatchewan stores.
At the time of its closure, four were employed at the Brandon location. As many as 12 had been employed during previous years.
