Brandon Police Service have advised today by media release that Ambrose Aidoo, 33, is wanted on a Manitoba-wide warrant for Sexual Assault, Falsely Represent Peace Officer, and Fail to Attend Court in Accordance with Release Order.
Aidoo is currently listed as Brandon Crime Stoppersâ Most Wanted where it is alleged that Aidoo engaged in a conversation with a female met on the 1200 block of 20th Street in Brandon on June 6, 2019, then convinced the female to attend to his apartment with him. Police allege that once inside Aidoo told her that he was an undercover Police officer and then proceeded to sexually assault the female victim.
In a Monday media release Police say that Aidoo had been residing recently in the Brandon area though has not been seen in the area since January 16th. He is believed to be staying in Winnipeg.
