These Brandon stores are offering free delivery within the city

With shopping as we know it having temporarily changed amidst social distancing measures, Brandon businesses are getting increasingly creative in order to connect customers with the products they sell in as contactless of a manner as possible. For many retailers that has included the introduction of curb side pickup options along with a trend of more and more finding ways to offer delivery within the city of Brandon.

Some of those with delivery availability have gone as far as offering no charge delivery within Brandon, which I’ll be making the focus of this particular post. 

The listing below shouldn’t be taken as an all-encompassing list and will be added to should there be others learned of. This writeup is focused on deliveries in Brandon, but don’t take that to mean that options within a radius of the city aren’t available. Please contact the business for more information should you not reside within the city but are curious what they have to offer.

A & L Cycle

Offering free delivery within Brandon on all purchases regardless of size or amount from their inventory that includes not only bikes but items such as kayaks, paddle boards, fitness equipment, bike parts/accessories and clothing. 

For those requiring bike repairs, are also offering to pickup and return bikes at no charge alongside offering service. 

Purchases can be co-ordinated by calling the store at 204-727-5817 or visiting http://www.alcycle.ca, choosing the “local delivery” option. Curb side pickup and in-store also available. 

Temporary store hours are Tuesday-Friday from 9:30am - 6pm and Saturday from 9am - 5pm.  

A Pet Lovers Warehouse

For pet owners looking for products for their fur babies without having to leave home, Pet Lovers Warehouse is offering free delivery within Brandon city limits.

Deliveries are made same-day between Monday and Friday on orders submitted before 4pm. No minimum order value is required. Customers are able to browse product offered by the store on its website at apetlovers.com. Those with questions and those wishing to submit orders can call (204) 725-1172.

Alternative Choice Garden Centre

Though Alternative’s physical retail store is temporarily closed to the public, they have recently expanded offerings in order to connect with customers as easily as possible during this period of physical distancing.

Orders are able to be arranged by phone (204-727-7289) and e-mail with an online store in the works. Phone customers have the option of shopping by video chat.

Have recently introduced free delivery service within Brandon for greenhouse and giftware products. Deliveries are done same-day on orders placed by 2pm. Greenhouse/giftware delivery is separate from delivery of landscape product or bulk deliveries, where standard charges apply. Service on all orders is also available by curb side pickup.

Phones are answered from Monday to Saturday from 9am-5pm.

Baby Bump

Established at its 18th Street Thomas Mall location in 2017, Baby Bump like many local small businesses has seen its retail space temporarily unavailable for in-person shopping during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Thankfully for customers, the store’s website at thebabybump.ca is setup for online browsing and purchases. Whether through the website, phone (204-717-5437) or social media customers are able to order from a selection of more than 250 products in areas that include health and wellness, clothing & apparel and nursing.

No charge delivery is offered within Brandon with every effort being made for same-day drop-off. During the pandemic, no minimum order value is required to qualify for free delivery.


Though availability of shopping within BOBHQ’s physical retail space is temporarily unavailable to the public, shoppers have access to the store’s more than 1000 items in its nearly 5000 square foot location from the comfort of home. Those items include but certainly aren’t limited to incense, essential oils, Hempz lotions, candles, puzzles and games. 

Free local delivery is offered on orders of $20 or greater in value. With deliveries being made between 5 and 6pm Monday through Friday, orders should be received prior to 5pm for drop-off on that particular day. Curb side pickup is also being offered on weekdays from 10am - 5pm.

Christies Office Plus

Just months removed from transitioning operations to their brand new Richmond Avenue East headquarters, folks within the city have the good fortune of benefiting from the option of free next-day delivery within Brandon from Christies’ selection of thousands of products that makeup their retail space and 22,500 square foot warehouse. 

Items offered can be browsed at christiesop.com including through catalogues that have been published therein. For pricing and to order, retail customers are asked to phone the store at 204-727-1423 or email orders (-at-) christiesop.com to co-ordinate. In addition to free delivery, curb side pickups offered.

A minimum $35 order had been required for in-town delivery, however that requirement has been waived at present. 

Christies’ hours to place delivery and curb side orders are currently Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. 

Extreme Electronics

Offering free delivery within Brandon on local purchases

Purchases can be researched and made online at extremeelectronics.ca, by calling the store at 204-728-7743 or by visiting the store itself which remains open to retail business. An option is also being offered to shop via video chat, which can be setup by calling the phone number noted above.

For Brandon deliveries, there is no minimum purchase to qualify for free delivery. Deliveries are made by store employees to Brandon doorsteps or garages in lieu of the pandemic, with efforts made for same-day drop-off wherever possible. Curbside pickup is also being offered to customers. In addition to free delivery within Brandon, free shipping is also made available on most orders over $99 across Canada.

Temporary store hours are Monday-Saturday from 11am-6pm.

Fun Time Pottery

For folks looking to make productive use of free time, Fun Time Pottery is going to great lengths to give customers in Brandon and Souris the opportunity to make use of what they offer.

The store regularly posts pictures on its Facebook page of available pieces on its shelves as part of "to-go kits" being offered. Customers are then able to submit orders by Facebook, Phone or e-mail with payment by credit card over phone or by e-transfer. Orders of pieces complete with paint can be picked up curbside or delivered to customers. Once the customer's painting is complete, their work can be picked up by a driver (or dropped off curbside) where glaze firing is then done at the store. For delivery customers, the finished piece is then returned to the customer. Deliveries are done daily with no minimum order value required.

Free delivery in and within a radius of the city is nothing new to Kullberg’s, who in recent times have moved towards more frequently accommodating remote and contactless purchases alongside those efforts in a time of social distancing.

Purchasing continues to be available remotely as well as in the store's showroom with social distancing measures in place. No minimum order value is required for delivery, with purchases able to be researched and co-ordinated through phone, e-mail, webchat or website. Product availability can also be researched at https://www.kullbergs.ca

Every effort can be made for same-day delivery depending on time and existing delivery commitments, otherwise next-day can be expected.  Kullberg’s presently is maintaining reduced hours of Monday through Saturday, 9am-6pm and is closed on Sundays. 


Furniture stores are considered essential, being allowed to open to the public with social distancing measures in place. Leons is also conducting orders remotely and then offer pickup and delivery service. The store is another that has and continues to offer to bring orders to you within Brandon with free delivery on purchases over $498.

Shopping can be done remotely either online at Leons.ca or by phone at 204-727-4444 as well as in-store. Hours are presently reduced to Tuesday-Saturday, 10am-6pm.

Delivery at present is done to doorstep or garage only in lieu of the pandemic. Efforts will be made for same-day delivery wherever possible.


With many folks making use of extra time at home to check off renovation to-do list items, Brandon’s Rona store has begun offering free delivery within Brandon.

For orders of no minimum size, one can purchase items from a selection of more than 5000 products and have them delivered at no charge to their doorstep that include by aren’t limited to seasonal products, lumber and a whole gamut of home reno products. 

Orders can be built by phone at 204-728-1855 or e-mail at sales (-at-) ronabrandon.ca. A Virtual Shopper service is also available that will go as far as walking a customer through the store on video chat to identify products of interest. Products are also highlighted through Rona Brandon’s Facebook and Instagram presences.

Free delivery is also offered outside of but within a radius of the city on ‘Westman Wednesdays.’ Contact store for details. 

Rona, who also remain open for standard retail shopping, is open over temporary hours of Monday 8am-6pm, Tuesday-Friday 8am-5pm and Saturday 9am-5pm. Sunday and after hours by appointment.


By taking advantage of an offer currently in place, Smitten customers are able to receive free shipping on orders of at least $50 from a selection of more than 3000 SKUs offered. 

Though customer access to the physical store is temporarily closed to retail customers, it can be reached by calling 204-727-2446, through Facebook Messenger or browsing http://mysmitten.ca

To qualify for free shipping online, customers should use the promo code FREESHIPMB. Phone orders would just need to mention the free shipping offer. Orders are shipped via Canada Post and generally seeing 1-2 day turnaround times within the city. 

Hours are currently Monday-Friday from 10am-5pm. Curbside pickup is also available. 

Source for Sports

Though their physical retail space is temporarily closed to the public, Brandon’s Source for Sports location has launched an online storefront to which staff have been busily adding a wide assortment of spring sporting goods available for purchase. 

Customers are able to buy said items online at https://brandonsourceforsports2020.itemorder.com, with the store doing free same weekday or next weekday doorstep deliveries within a 10km radius of the City of Brandon. There is no minimum order value to qualify for free delivery. Orders outside of that radius are shipped by Canada Post. 

More products are said to be added daily. If looking for a product not yet listed online, one is asked to contact the store either by phone at 204-727-0756 or e-mail at joel (-at-brandonsourceforsports.com or scott (-at-) brandonsourceforsports.com. 

Stream N Wood

With their retail location remaining open to a maximum of ten customers at a time, Stream N Wood has also moved toward offering customers the ability to make contactless socially distanced purchases through free delivery to Brandon doorsteps. 

Customers may call the store at 204-727-2767 or browse from a selection of more than 1000 items at streamnwood.com. Deliveries are made at the end of the same business day that purchases are made on purchases of no minimum value. 

The store’s current hours are Tuesday-Friday 9am-6pm and Saturday from 9am-5pm. Curb side pickup is also available. 

Super Thrifty Drugs

In addition to prescriptions, Super Thrifty is offering free delivery of anything in its stores on 6th Street and Richmond Avenue as well as Victoria Avenue’s Home Health Care Pharmacy. 

Product availability inquiries and orders can be conducted by phone at each store’s respective number (see below). No charge deliveries are offered within Brandon on the same day on orders placed prior to 3pm. No minimum order value applies. 

Each location is also offering curb side pickup with Richmond Avenue having a drive thru pickup window.

Westman Lumber Supply

With a published online catalogue of approximately 50,000 products, Westman Lumber Supply is offering free delivery within Brandon.

No minimum order value is required for no charge delivery within the city, with customers outside of Brandon also able to discuss costs to deliver to their location. Every effort is made for same-day delivery on orders submitted prior to 3pm, with orders after that time being delivered next day.

Customers can browse available products at westmanlumber.com as well as in the store’s monthly flyer. Products not found online can be inquired about by phone, email or through the website’s “request a quote” option. To co-ordinate orders please call (204) 726-5493.

Windsor Plywood

To accommodate customers looking to purchase what they offer during this unprecedented time, Windsor Plywood has been increasingly processing orders by phone and facilitating customer inquiries by e-mail in recent weeks in addition to their still-open retail store on 18th Street North. 

Deliveries on orders are being offered to local driveways or open garages at no charge within Brandon with no minimum order value required. Deliveries are made ASAP with every effort made for same-day.

Windsor Plywood’s temporarily reduced hours are presently 8am-5pm Monday-Saturday. 

But wait, there's more!

This turned out to be a much longer read than I anticipated and at the same time I hope that much more valuable of resource as a starting point for a conversation about fulfilling shopping needs in socially distant ways in consistency with provincial recommendations during the response to COVID-19. 

This is anything but a full list of businesses that are taking measures to be able to connect with customers in the city as easily as possible. A few others offering curb side pickup include Toymasters, Michaels and Home Depot.
