The Canadian Forces Snowbirds are in the midst of cross-Canada tour as a salute to Canadians alongside the current fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
Dubbed “Operation Inspiration,” the Snowbirds’ signature nine-jet formation will be conducting flyovers at no lower than 500 feet above all obstacles over communities across the country.
Tomorrow (Tuesday) is Manitoba’s turn, with a scheduled 9:30am takeoff in Winnipeg proceeding towards Brandon and an approach to the City from the South as part of a scheduled 10:30am landing (see maps below):
The team is then scheduled to leave the city at 1:30pm. Routes and times are subject to change, with updates posted on the Snowbirds' social media.
It is asked that flyovers be watched from the safety of one's home and that folks refrain from traveling to see, maintaining physical distancing practices to keep everyone safe.
