One of the many unfortunate consequences of the ongoing pandemic response has been a serious reduction in the kinds of events that bring a wide variety of vendors together in one place to provide local shoppers with a chance to find that unique something.
Thanks to the folks with Apple + Pine Market in conjunction with the Keystone Centre, Westman will in just over one month’s time have the opportunity to in an outdoor setting peruse offerings from more than 40 local artisans across areas that will include home decor, candles, art, self-care and food & drink among others.
The event will take place at the Keystone Centre grounds on the evening of September 4th from 5-8pm and on Saturday, September 5th from 10am-4pm. Admission on either day will be $5, with tickets available either at the gate or on Apple + Pine’s website with the latter being recommended when online in the days ahead. Children 12 and under get in for free.
The market will be Apple + Pine’s first of 2020 in the city, with a planned May event inside the Provincial Ex Dome Building having been cancelled in lieu of the pandemic.
On-site food and beverage will be available for sale with concessions and the market itself operating within guidelines set out by Manitoba Public Health during our present pandemic reality. Sanitizer will be provided for customers on entry and exit and shoppers are encouraged to wear masks when not able to social distance.
As of the time of this posting, a day remained for artisans themselves to signup before a vendor list is shared with folks looking to attend.
More details on registering as a vendor and eventually ticket sales can be found at https://www.appleandpinemarket.com along with Apple + Pine's social media channels.
