A major player in the Canadian automotive service industry has added Brandon to its footprint of outlets across the country.
Mr. Lube is now open for business at the intersection of 18th Street and Rosser Avenue as part of a conversion to the national brand from the auto service centre at the same location most recently known as Lube 1.
On its website, Mr. Lube describes itself as the Canadian leader in automotive oil change and preventative maintenance.
The Brandon location, added to the chain’s website by Saturday, is the first for Mr. Lube in Manitoba outside of the provincial capital. The chain has five locations in Winnipeg and seven in Saskatchewan among more than 180 across Canada.
Some aspects of the conversion appear to remain pending, with banners flying corporate branding and “Now Open” messaging presumably soon to be replaced by permanent signage. Further details will be added when learned.
The same 1712 Rosser Ave location first opened as a newly constructed oil change centre and touchless car wash in the Spring of 2012. It has previously operated as Pennzoil 10-Minute Oil Change Centre and Jiffy Lube, switching to independent operation as Lube 1 in 2018.
