At a time when demand for alternative ways to shop would appear to be at an all-time high, Brandon’s Heritage Co-Op food store has joined more than ten others within the Co-Op network in offering customers the ability to shop for groceries from the comfort of home.
Through a dedicated online shopping website, customers can now browse through traditional grocery store departments including meat & seafood, produce, bakery, frozen foods, bulk and others as well as merchandise such as per products and health care products.
Similar in interface to other online grocery order services, customers first choose from available pickup slots beginning at 10-11am each day and running as late as 6-7pm Monday through Saturday and 3-4pm on Sundays. Pickup cost is said to be free for a limited time. As of the evening that this writeup was posted, time slots were available for as soon as next-morning.
In addition to offering online order and pickup service, the same website allows one to browse available items and build a shopping list for an upcoming more traditional in-store visit.
Brandon’s Heritage Co-op food store has been offering pickup and delivery orders by phone with demand reportedly being particularly high during the pandemic.
