Journeyman/Woman Automotive Service Technician
Pay: Up to CA$48.00 per hour
Job description:
We are currently seeking a Journeyman/woman Automotive Service Technician to join our growing service team at our Birtle location. This role is ideal for a licensed, experienced technician who takes pride in high-quality workmanship, accurate diagnostics, and efficient repairs.
As a Journeyman/woman technician, you will work independently while contributing to a collaborative, professional shop environment.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose customer concerns accurately and efficiently using advanced diagnostic tools and technology
- Perform complex mechanical and electrical repairs with minimal supervision
- Complete routine maintenance, inspections, and vehicle tune-ups
- Provide accurate labour and time estimates for recommended repairs
- Inspect and test vehicles to ensure all repairs meet safety and quality standards
- Support and mentor apprentices or junior technicians as needed
- Follow all dealership policies, procedures, and service checklists
Qualifications:
- Red Seal or Provincial Journeyman Certification
- Valid driver's license
- Strong diagnostic and electrical experience
- Deadline and detail-oriented
Salary:
- Up to $48/ hour - Level 3 and up, wage dependent on level/hours
