Who You Are:
Working in a multidisciplinary environment, the ideal candidate will have experience producing design drawings for institutional, commercial, and industrial projects. You are a collaborative team player with strong and effective communication skills. Your exceptional organizational abilities enable you to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Key duties include:
- Assist in various aspects of field surveys using Total Station (conventional), and Level and Rod (digital and optical) for a varying range of field inspection
- Perform calculations accurately
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil3D
- Experience in the use of and interpretation of the Transportation Association of Canada (TAC) Geometric design guide for Canadian Roads
- Preparation and review of drawings
- Contract specifications / documentation
- Contract administration
- Liaison with discipline members, sub-consultants and clients
- Preparation and review of drawings
- Technical analysis and design
- Civil3D earthworks design and terrain modeling
- Keep clear and concise field notes
Qualifications:
- Civil / Structural or Municipal Technology Diploma
- Registration with CTTAM as a certified technologist or in the process of obtaining
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, REVIT, and Microsoft Office Software
- Willingness to learn new software programs
- The ability to meet tight deadlines while producing accurate and detailed data
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- ?Relevant work experience would be considered an asset
