Position Title: Casual Driver
Position Status: Casual - no hours guaranteed Competition File: 02/26
Child and Family Services of Western Manitoba is seeking applications from responsible and reliable individuals that are interested in driving children and families from the Brandon and the Westman area to locations throughout the Province.
Drivers are needed to transport clients under the direction of the Social Worker. The successful applicant must focus on providing safe, calm, and reliable transportation while maintaining professional boundaries. They will assist children in and out of the vehicle, helping with car seats, booster seats, seat belts, and other items as required. Drivers may need to be available for extended hours and able to work some evenings and weekends. Hours of work are on an as needed basis; hourly rate of pay is $16.60 per hour.
Applicants must have a valid class 5 Manitoba Driver's license, a clear driving abstract, and be willing to pick-up/return fleet vehicles from Agency properties between bookings.
Qualifications:
- Related experience a definite asset;
- Valid Manitoba class 5 Driver's license
Additional Information:
Successful completion of a Child Abuse Registry Check, Criminal Records Check (including vulnerable sector), Prior Contact Check, and a Driver's Abstract Check is required. The successful candidate will be responsible for any services charges incurred for the Criminal Record Check; the Agency will pay for the other three security checks.
