Parts Department Individual
Pay: CA$20.00 - CA$24.00 per hour
Job Overview :
As the Parts individual you will bring an energetic, customer focused approach helping farmers with there needs. The Parts Department will have the autonomy to execute business within our territories as if it was their own business while upholding the strong business morals and credentials that our customers have come to expect from Carlisle Liquid Starters.
The Parts Department is pivotal for the growth and success of Carlisle Liquid Starters. Working along side the Owner, Sales Team, and Accounts Department we will collectively continue to work with our industry partners to market, promote and sell innovative products that meet the ever-changing agriculture landscape.
Responsibilities :
Inventory Management:
Maintaining accurate records of parts, tracking inventory levels, and ensuring adequate stock levels.
Ordering and Receiving:
Placing orders for new parts, receiving shipments, and verifying the accuracy of deliveries.
Customer Service:
Assisting customers in identifying and sourcing the correct parts, providing quotes, and handling inquiries.
Sales:
Selling parts to customers, processing sales transactions, and potentially handling payments.
Warehouse Operations:
Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, potentially handling the physical movement of parts.
Technical Support:
Advising customers on the use of parts, suggesting compatible products, and potentially assisting with troubleshooting.
Relationship Management:
Building relationships with suppliers and other departments within the organization.
Office Cleanliness:
Assist with the cleaning of the office as needed (garbage?s, floors, etc.)
Skills :
Product Knowledge:
A strong understanding of the specific parts relevant to the industry. (Not Required, can be taught in house)
Inventory Management Skills:
Proficiency in managing and tracking inventory, potentially using specialized software.
Customer Service Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers.
Technical Aptitude:
Ability to understand technical information related to parts and their applications.
Organizational Skills:
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Computer Skills:
Proficiency in using computer systems for inventory management, communication, and potentially sales transactions. (Quickbooks, Excel, Word, Outlook)
Transportation:
Valid Class 5 Drivers License at the minimum, with transportation to get to work each day
Working Hours:
Work Monday through Friday 8am to 4:30pm (with alternating Saturdays during busy season)
Education:
High School Diploma and Fluent in English
Working Conditions:
Ability to perform manual labor for extended periods of time, and ability to lift 50Lbs
