Position Summary

The Business Development & Marketing Manager is responsible for driving regional growth and brand presence across Manitoba and Saskatchewan. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, strengthening client relationships, supporting proposal development, and executing targeted marketing initiatives aligned with Shreem?s strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities across MB & SK.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with industrial clients, EPCs, consultants, municipalities, utilities, and plant owners.
  • Develop and execute a regional business development strategy aligned with company goals.
  • Track upcoming capital projects, turnarounds, upgrades, and maintenance contracts.
  • Support and coordinate RFQs, RFPs, and tender submissions.
  • Collaborate with engineering, project management, and operations teams to develop scopes, budgets, and commercial proposals.
  • Ensure effective handover from sales to project execution.

Marketing & Brand Development

  • Strengthen Shreem?s brand awareness and market positioning in MB & SK.
  • Develop and maintain regional marketing materials including capability statements, case studies, and project highlights.
  • Support digital marketing initiatives including website content and LinkedIn presence.
  • Represent Shreem at industry events, trade shows, networking events, and client meetings.
  • Coordinate client presentations, lunch-and-learn sessions, and technical workshops.

Strategy, Reporting & Coordination

  • Maintain CRM records and manage sales pipeline and forecasts.
  • Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and emerging technologies.
  • Provide regular sales, marketing, and market intelligence reports to sales and management department.
  • Support strategic initiatives such as new service offerings and regional expansion.

Safety, Quality & Compliance

  • Promote and uphold Shreem?s safety-first culture, quality standards, and ethical business practices.
  • Ensure all activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor?s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing within industrial services, automation, or construction.
  • Strong understanding of industrial markets in Manitoba and Saskatchewan.
  • Proven experience developing client relationships and securing new business.
  • Ability to read and understand technical scopes, drawings, and specifications.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and digital marketing tools.
  • Valid driver?s license and ability to travel within MB & SK.
