We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Framer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, with the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics accurately. Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, and technical drawings to execute framing projects accurately
- Construct and install wood, or steel for foundations, walls, and other structures
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist with siding installation and restoration projects as needed
- Conduct heavy lifting to move materials and components into place
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety standards are met
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within specifications
Requirements
- Proven experience in framing, carpentry, or related construction fields is an asset
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings with precision
- Knowledge of construction is preferred
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, woodworking, and heavy equipment operation
- Physical capability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights or in confined spaces
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various weather conditions
