Virden Public Swimming Pool
The Town of Virden is currently recruiting for the following summer employment opportunities at the Virden Swimming pool.
Head Lifeguard/Assistant Head Lifeguard:
- 2-3 years previous Instructor experience plus certifications listed below.
Lifeguard/Instructor:
Certifications Required for Supervisor, Assistant Supervisor and Lifeguard/Instructor
- Willing to obtain, or currently hold valid First Aid Certification with Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certificate of C-Level or higher
- Valid National Life Guard Service (NLS)
- Valid Water Safety Instructor (WSI)
- Valid Assistant Water Safety Instructor (AWSI)
- Valid Life Saving Instructor (LSI)
Assistant Lifeguard:
Certifications Required for Assistant Lifeguard
- Willing to obtain, or currently hold valid First Aid Certification with Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certificate of C-Level or higher
- Valid Bronze Cross Certification or Red Cross Assistant Lifeguard Certification
