About the Role
Quarry Hills Excavation & Gravel Ltd. is one of Westman?s fastest growing commercial heavy equipment contractors, specializing in gravel, sewer & waterworks, and earthworks. We take pride in providing efficient, reliable service and are currently looking to add an experienced and dependable Sewer & Water Labourer to our team.
Requirements:
- Experience working with sewer and water systems
- Knowledge of water and sewer pipes, valves, and fittings
- Familiarity with live taps
- Experience connecting to city services for residential and commercial projects
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence required
- Class 3 driver's licence considered an asset
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with installation, repair, and maintenance of sewer and water systems
- Support crews with pipe installation, alignment, and connections
- Perform hookups to municipal services for residential and commercial sites
- Assist with live taps and related procedures
- Maintain a clean and safe worksite
- Follow all safety procedures and company standards
