Now Hiring: Pesticide Spray Applicator (Full-Time, Seasonal)

We're looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Pesticide Spray Applicator to join our Grounds Maintenance team. If you enjoy working outdoors, take pride in high-quality workmanship, and want to be part of a company that values professionalism and reliability, this is the role for you.
What You'll Do
As a key member of our maintenance crew, you'll be responsible for delivering safe, accurate, and efficient application services to both residential and commercial clients. Your day-to-day work will include:
Pesticide & Fertilizer Application
- Completing fertilizer and pesticide work orders with precision
- Applying herbicides (including Roundup), granular fertilizers, and other treatments
- Ensuring proper coverage, compliance, and quality on every job
- Maintaining a valid Pesticide Applicator License (or working toward one)
Customer Service & Professionalism
- Communicating clearly and courteously with clients
- Building trust through reliability and excellent service
- Offering observations or recommendations when appropriate
Equipment & Inventory Care
- Operating and maintaining spray equipment, spreaders, and tools
- Monitoring inventory and requesting supplies before they run low
- Troubleshooting equipment issues to keep operations running smoothly
Additional Responsibilities
- Assisting with property inspections and documentation
- Supporting topdressing, sod installation, and water hauling
- Participating in winter snow removal operations
- Following all company safety policies and procedures
What You Bring
Physical Ability
- Comfortable with climbing, kneeling, lifting, pulling, pushing, and repetitive motion
- Able to lift up to 80 lbs
- Willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Skills & Strengths

- Ability to work independently and stay organized

- Reliable, professional, and committed to quality
- Basic equipment maintenance and measuring tool proficiency
Education & Experience
- Valid Pesticide Applicator License (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid MB Class 5F driver's license (Class 3 with Air Brake is an asset)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in pesticide application or related field
- Landscaping or grounds maintenance experience is a strong asset
