Farm Production Assistant
We are looking to hire a responsible experienced person to help on our grain farm near Plumas.
Duties include driving modern farm machinery and automatic transmission tandem grain trucks, building and yard maintenance, handling grain, and other farm related duties as required. All work areas to be kept clean and organized.
Flexible wintertime hours include, but not limited to, doing maintenance and repairs in a modern heated shop.
Qualifications include a class 5 driver?s license, strong mechanical aptitude, good communication skills, highly motivated, must be able to do occasional heavy lifting and climbing, willing to work long hours and weekends during seeding and harvest. Also able to work independently, reliable, punctual, good time management and problem solving skills, and good knowledge of workplace health and safety. Experience with welding is beneficial.
Wages depend on experience and capabilities.
