now Removal Equipment Operator / Driver
Skid steer, Loader, Ag tractor, Dump truck, Plow Truck
Livingstone Landscaping Ltd. - Casual/On-call
Reports to the Snow Operator Manager
When the snow hits an inch or more, Livingstone moves. Sanding, emergency access, clearing driveways and lots, hauling it away. Equipment operators are the ones in the seat - not waiting for a forecast to feel convenient.
This is on-call winter work. Built for people laid off for the season, already working part-time or shifts, and looking for real extra hours when the weather shows up. Priority goes to whoever answers, shows up, and doesn't go quiet when the phone rings.
What you'll actually do
- Answer the call-in on snow days
- Run a skid steer, loader, ag tractor, or dump truck to clear driveways and parking lots, or haul snow off-site
- Work in tight residential space: cars, pedestrians, houses, zero room for a sloppy pass
- Do the pre-trip, keep the route paperwork straight, and leave the machine the way you found it (or better)
- Park it properly, including backing into the space
- Ask before you guess, and finish the job like it has your name on it
You should have
- A valid Class 5F driver's licence
- A Class 3A is an asset
- Real experience on at least one of the machines above - skid steer, loader, ag tractor, plow truck or dump truck
- Open availability through snow events, and the habit of actually picking up
- A team attitude and an eye for clean work, not "good enough"
Other duties as assigned. Storms don't stick to the job posting.
If you can run iron in a driveway without taking out a mailbox, this is your winter side gig.
