Sad that people will negotiate the cheapest price they can get knowing full well they are going to flip the item for a profit. I know this for a fact. " |

There seems to be alot of jealousy in this world... SERIOUSLY??
NOTHING in this world is sold for less than it was worth to the seller..NOTHING!!!..... In this case, the seller sold an item for $200 because they were happy to make that amount on the sale.
If the seller couldn't handle what happened next to that chainsaw, then the seller would've kept it instead.
If market economics in the world of used goods gets you miffed, then I project many sleepless nights in your future because the rest of the world is a cruel b i t c h in comparison! " |

Ya but the saw was bought from restore where all funds go to habitat for humanity. Then resold at double the price. Seems a bit low to take advantage of a charity. Just my opinion. " |

I see what you're saying, but politely disagree... Currently, that buyer likely has supported habitat for humanity by giving the restore $200....that's more than me, and likely everyone else in this thread.
Now, if they manage to make $400 selling that saw(or any sort of profit), they will likely go back to the restore, and support habitat for humanity more!
If this buyer negotiated the price down in bad faith, then he/she will certainly meet up with karma on the other side at some point.
