Points raised, I’m a smoker, and yes it’s a disgusting habit, agreed, there are always aspects of looking into things, I don’t agree that you can rent or not rent to someone based on if they smoke or not, just my opinion, but for conversation sake, if I had a medical condition, that I was able to smoke medical marijuana for, and I’m talking outside of the residence, how would the landlords approach that issue? Would that be similar to saying “ for rent unless your disabled” curious of the thoughts on this aspect of things, from both sides, because smoking outside is smoking outside regardless, and as a landlord your really only in control of your home and property, but let’s say I rent from you and go smoke on the street? What can you do about it than?
