Mamma Mia was fantastic tonight! We are so fortunate to have so much talent in our area!

Yes! I have been to several shows and it was so refreshing to see new talent for the young stars. Bravo!!

We went opening night! From beginning to end it was awesome! So much talent, amazing voices, and even some good jokes. Absolutely loved it!!!  
The only negative thing, and it has nothing to do with the play itself, was that the concession was selling snacks , with what I swear was the loudest wrappers I’ve ever heard, and the noise of ppl constantly rattling their snack wrappers during the play was kinda annoying. Maybe no snacks or a quiet one like a banana.....

There are some really good fresh faces, but the casts alternate so it depends which night you go.

Same people in the lead roles all the time! Yes they are good but it is always the same leads. Would be nice to see some new faces.

I totally understand your frustration with the snack wrappers. We went to see Newsie’s and the kid beside me ate wrapped candies and blew bubblegum the whole show. It was a distraction to say the least. Quiet snacks only please , besides, most people can go 2 hours without a snack.

Took in the Thursday evening performance, it was wonderful. Everyone involved really gave it their all.  
 
My only negative was the group of 5-6 ladies sitting next to me, who seemed to get quite intoxicated off the drinks they were having. The talking amongst themselves was distracting, and not overly quiet.  
Not sure why there needs to be a bar at these kind of events?

It seems to the same people all the time......especially one person in particular. Never seem to let anyone else be the shining star.

same people in most lead roles....or their children. And seemed to be no thought to cast the roles with people that suited those roles. Overall a good show mostly because the music is so catchy and fun - the band was fabulous!

For it being promoted as a community theatre, to see the same people with the same lead roles whether they are suited for the part or not isn’t right. They need to step back and let others showcase there talent as well in leading parts.

Yes the same people and their family and friends. I’m sure other people must audition for these roles? I don’t see this in other theatre shows I have been to. Why do they insist on the same people over and over again ?

So we went to the show on Wednesday night, which was promoted as a sell out. My question is why were people not able to buy tickets when there were over 300 seats at the back of the auditorium that were empty.

In retrospect yes the leads were mostly the same usual people. I was happy to see some new faces in the cast I watched, and I still thought the music and band made for a great show. Maybe a couple of people were not really what you would picture as romantic leads but maybe nobody else did audition?
