    Anyone else in Brandon have frozen water lines?  
    How long of a wait were you told before the City could come out to thaw your water line?  
    Or how long were you without water?

    You are responsible for all waterlines to to curb. Are you sure it’s not on your own property that is the problem?

    Our place just got water back up - been out since Monday. They say it's a long wait due to the time of year.

    Based on the fact that the city has had to come do multiple properties on my block in the last week, I would say its not on my property. If only it was - then my home insurance would cover it.  
    Additionally, I was told "there are hundreds" of people ahead of me........so I am not alone. Its common when we have had extremely cold temps and it starts to warm up that it pushes the frost deeper.

    There’s been a lot of places in the West End that have been affected. Call the city of Brandon, your first thaw in the season is free

    The city has put out more info this aft... it sounds like the wait list today was about three dozen deep. For those on the wait list they are able to provide temporary water service:

    Oh I have the insurance. And if the line was broken, I would be covered for repair. Not for it being frozen.
