Is it so hard to say " We were formerly mistaken/wrong in our judgment and orders, but learned from our mistakes and are now correcting these measures"?
I think this will get more voters on your side to see you are human and humble as leaders, instead of justifying everything with man-splain and diverstionary tactical speak.
Just my two cents. "
think they made a mistake in their health orders. My opinion is, their mistake was in thinking all Manitobans where smart enough to follow the orders.
They miscalculated the number of self centered, non caring, I AM GOING TO EXERCISE MY RIGHTS ( forget about my responsibilities) people in Manitoba.
Also I did not hear any of the so called reporters think to ask" if people had followed the health orders would we be in this mess". They were all in my opinion try to trip up and make our Premier and chief health officer look bad instead of finding out what really went wrong. In my opinion the reporters where instead of trying to get what is really happening and the cause, where trying to sensationalize. Reporting in that way is not doing the citizens of Manitoba any favors. I believe at one time it was called tabloid journalism.
As far as tightening health orders and shutting done all non essential shopping and killing more businesses, how be we all just follow the existing orders instead of looking for ways to get around them
