I hear the city is going to start fining resident who don’t clean there sidewalk. Well here a couple points for the city to consider. If you leave your waste bin out to long they can fine you up to a thousand but not cleaning your sidewalk the fine is $150.00. Hmm I guess that waste bin has a chance of jumping out and tripping you up more then a person slipping and falling and causing an injury while walking on the sidewalk that has not been cleared. Also why does your sidewalk snowblowing machine go over a sidewalk that they have already cleaned earlier that day. I tidied up the first time then he comes by again and dragged more snow on what I just tidied. These machine move slow so maybe if the city did some better planning that machine could have went down another sidewalk that they have not clean. Afterall there are lots of sidewalks in the city. No need to go over one twice in a day. As the saying goes giving us resident more bang for our dollar.

Not this year luckily. And maybe the city councillors that are against it will win, especially if the city is going to keep hiking up the taxes and yet not be accountable for workers not working or doing a crap job. Try phoning the city offices and see if you get a response. Usually it’s a none answer. Seems like only eBrandon is open to allowing us to publicly state the city is doing a bad job with roads/ infrastructure.

I wouldn't get worried about city bylaws. The city spends thousands of dollars to write them and put them into effect and there is never enforcement. It's more of a suggestion than a rule here.

I had a meth house right next door to me , it was a magnet for every crook in town . The back lane was like a highway for garbage pickers and there was about 25 garbage bins left in the back lane all week . I phoned the bylaw officer and the sanitation department every week to complain . Nothing was ever done . There was a cocaine dealer in the apartment building across the back lane from my house . They would stuff the garbage bins so full they were overflowing .They did not separate the recycle from the garbage . I sent pictures to the city counselor trying to get him to do something , all he did was send me pictures back from his back lane with the same problem . This apartment building has four three bedroom apartments ,potentially  
24 people living there , it only has 2 recycle bins and 2 garbage bins .This a city bylaw that does not work .
