I may have been hallucinating, but I'm pretty sure I saw three turkeys grazing grass at the corner of Aberdeen and 9th on Monday evening around 5pm. Did anyone else see this and does anyone know the story behind these critters?...assuming I wasn't high at the time.

Yup, a herd of turkeys live in that area. You may have been high, but that's not why you were seeing turkeys.

I was at the cemetary on fathers day and there was two turkeys there.

...glad to know I wasn't just going nuts. I've managed to lay off the weed ever since my talking teddy bear moved to Hollywood and started making movies with Mark Wahlberg...far fewer bad influences in my life (LMAO!).

Wish I was able to pull off a usable pic, but looks like the turkey family is expanding. Quite the sight to see one of these with four or five babies in tow this morning!

These 2 laid back characters (photos posted to the right) were fun to watch, along with their hoppy little buddy. Too bad the crows I saw also sitting peacefully nearby weren't able to be captured in the same photo frame.

All appeared to be living in peaceful harmony. No squawking, gobble, gobbles or kerfuffle.

There is a hen with one juvenile and eight poults around 8th Street and Balmoral Bay area these days. I posted a picture, but it's difficult to get all the young ones to stay together for a family photo.
