I have also found that it seems like a lot of trucks now days when they're pulling trailers are not weighted properly and their lights are shining way up in the sky right in your eyes, but to say that it is just because you got the new style of Lights is just idiotic they're just out of adjustment. Kent, have you ever towed anything? I do occasionally. Guess what? As I hitch up to something, it puts weight on the hitch, which is at the back end of my truck, which pushes the back end of my truck down, which raises the angle of my headlights so they are a lot higher than normal. Proper towing procedure is to put weight on the hitch. A perfectly balanced load on the trailer is dangerous, the load needs to be forward of centre to put weight on the hitch. How do you weight a truck properly when towing? Do you put extra weight on the front end? How should I do it for the occasional towing job?
Changing the alignment of my headlights for the occasional tow job is ridiculous. If I were towing all the time, that would be the proper thing to do. I agree that it is annoying meeting a truck that is towing something and their headlights are too high, but I dismiss it because they are towing something.
