I think the crowd was stale. Very few people were out of their seats and although there were lots of cheers and clapping, I felt the crowd was lacking in enthusiasm and people left their seats whenever a slow song was played and/or he played some of his newer material. Lots of empty seats actually at the start of the concert.

I thought the place was almost packed! Crowd was amazing. What a show! Glad I went.

I agree, I thought the crowd was really into it, lots of singing along and enthusiastic..and Bryan was great, best show in Brandon in a long time

I thought it was a great concert! The people in the audience were having a great time and I'm sure most would agree. Bryan Adams is just as good now as he was 20 years ago.

Best show in Brandon in years!! The man's talent is insane, and the crowd was a normal mix of singers/dancers/hair flippers/cute couples and great atmosphere!! Had the best time and honestly I only cared about the show not the audience

Never went to the show, but I can't help but find it cool that someone with the insane amount of fame that Bryan Adams has would perform in our small city. Unfortunately, usually all we get here are washups whose careers are failing and have no choice but to perform in smaller places. (I will say though that I think Folk Fest is a high quality festival, so it's not like I think musicians who aren't doing so well financially suck or anything. I'm just saying that, out of desperation, they choose to come here.)  
 
Anyway, I don't consider myself an insanely huge Bryan Adams fan or anything, yet I kinda regret having not gone to the show. However, I only just heard about it the other day, when I believe tickets were already long sold out.  
 
Doesn't this make him the absolute most famous musician to have ever performed here in humble ol' Brandon?

Bryan put on a damn good show.  
I do find it weird that it was apparently sold out but there was large sections of empty seats. Found that disappointing.  
As for the crowd, ppl on the floor were on their feet the whole time but us back seats we did stay seated. But you do have to look at the crowd. A lot of older folk who just want to enjoy the music, not get rowdy.

I enjoyed the concert great to hear the old tunes and loved the new as well. It is all in the voice and caliber of song. I would loved to have stood up and danced but not fair to those who want to see behind me.

On the artist and the person I guess. I love BA, love nearly all of his music, but it is not the stuff that would make me want to get up and dance. Even U2 (I saw Popmart), people got up for some songs but it really was not a party vibe thing.  
 
Now the Bruno Mars concert - we stood and danced the whole time. It is a vibe that goes out, it makes you want to get up.  
 
The crowd for that concert was stunningly odd - 80+ year old people and kids as small as five or six. Head banging and leather clad people and fancy suits. And every one was on their feet most of the time. The older couple in front of us sat periodically, but they were partying pretty hard too.  
 
Cannot wait to take my daughter to next August's show!!

Ever hear of a little band called Kiss? Motely Crue? How about Kenny Rogers? All much bigger names.

were you watching ? the crowd was totally into the whole experience , you don't have to be a drugged up lunatic to enjoy a show that good . People were up and dancing and singing along .  
Best show Brandon has had in years

Didn't have to go to the concert, heard all of his songs on BOB all week. Thank god for satellite radio. I don't know how this guy got famous, you can hear better talent at the 40. The only reason he came to Brandon is because Winnipeg didn't want him.

Great show, acoustics were very good compared to past Keystone concerts, nice to have loud , but not ears buzzing after.  
 
Was curious why performance was being recorded with cameras, Bryan mentioned it, sounded like it was an unusual event?  
 
Adams pondered whether he had performed ever before in Brandon. Sounded like he had come to the conclusion he had not. I recall the owner of the old Country Music Store on 10th telling me Adams had performed as a teenager with his then band Sweeney Todd at the Brandon Summer Fair. Sure Adams was just having too much fun being a kid and performing Roxy Roller to recall this! Anyone have a recollection of such an event, thinking it must have been close to 40 years ago?  
 
Perhaps not as infamous as Kiss or Motley Crue, do think he has scored bigger and better hits over the years in many countrys. A true performer and writer, very likable, but glad he does not pile on makeup nor have pyrotechnics distracting from such catchy songs. Just an athletic Canadian with some great guitar work and awesome set of pipes. He qas quite a big deal worldwide, would say particularly during the Reckless era.

had our seats, but opted to stand up instead and enjoy his performance from area behind the seating area. We have seen him a few times before and those experiences superseded Thursday nights performance to be honest. Was great for Brandon for sure, but there just wasn't what we had thought it would be. He was fantastic yes, but the crowd and venue wasn't what I had expected.

he has performed sold out at MTS and the Centennial Concert Hall, both in Winnipeg. He was fantastic at both those venues.

The concert was absolutely amazing sounded exactly how he did 30 years ago in his prime.  
 
As for Dilbert saying better talent at the 40 PLEASE buddy you need to go to a show or two at the 40 and stay sober I been to a few there over the years the most resent being Harlequin and the acoustics in the place are terrible the music always so screaming loud can't hear yourself think let alone talk to the person next to you,
