Ive have gone from being in a long distance relationship to living together and back again in a long distance relationship over the course of 2 years. our distance apart is about a 27 hr strait drive. I think were still together because we make a point of call each other daily and telling each other of our days events and we also talk about the future and when we will be together. So i think if you make that effort to include your partner in your daily life it help keep you connected, and if you both really care/love each other then i dont see why it wont work, becuase our both working towards the same goal of being with each other.
