Roles of a man
3/24/2009 at 10:57 AM
I thought that I would branch off of another topic as it seemed to stray a little.
In regards to Mandy I see there are still old fashioned ideas with women. Please explain your so called MAN definition.
----------------------------------------
No chopping wood in -50 doesn't make you tough it makes you man. You city slickers I don't know what it would compare to, maybe shovelling your driveway or running the snow blower.
As Evan said knocking out your old ladies chicklets would make you tough, but no human should ever lay their hands on another unless its justified. That is assualt. I guess if she hit you first she is fair game but a man should never inflict harm on his spouse or any woman.
I think most of you read my posts a lil out of context. I never said beat your woman in her place I said a man is MAN and is suppose to act like one.
Quit acting like babies and act like men. What is society turning into. YEESH! =)
Just to let you know an idiot chops wood at -50 not a man. I would do it while it was warmer outside. I wouldn't bother using an axe either as I am smarter to use a log splitter to reduce muscle strain.
I agree that no harm is to be inflicted on a woman. But in the same breath you say to pipe up and be a man even if she is hi or drunk. Why would a man stay in a relationship where either physical or verbal/mental abuse is given by the woman? Is the MAN just to suck it up and take it? If those are your kind of game playing relationships then you can have them. Maybe if you came out of the bush once in a while you would see that society is changed and roles of men and woman are different. A man's role is to help with the woman and give her support emotionally, cooking, cleaning, children, that kind of thing. It is not like back in the day where woman belonged knocked up in the kitchen cooking and cleaning. A real man does not take the abuse of a woman as there is no reason to.
