Hello everyone.  
I'm looking for information on Marriage Counseling. Husband and I don't have alot of extra money so we are wanting to find something free or very cheap. But we need something.  
Someone has mentioned that pastors will do this for free, but we don't belong to a church.. so this option is not viable for us.  
Any information will be appreciated.

Most employer benefits programs offer coverage on this. Do some snooping around your benefits provider's website, or call someone in HR. They often provide online counseling, helpful articles, or referrals to local counselors.

Thankyou for your response. We've done our digging and found that unfortunately they do not cover marriage counseling or therapy.

Try the Counselling Centre on 10th. They're very good, and I seem to remember that it had a sliding scale for fees based on income, and I think you could make payment arrangements too.  
 
Keep in mind that marriage couselling is an investment in your future together, and is often much, much cheaper than a divorce. It's worth scraping the money together for.

I know most benefits will not cover this, however if you or your spouse is in a union the employer usually has what they call and EAP plan. Employee Assistance Plan. Its through a third party and it usually has a 1-800 number you can call. I have used one from a previous employer in the past and it is 100% confidential and it got me 3 free sessions, anything after that I had to pay for.  
 
You call the number explain your situation fill out a questionair from their website and they will call you back with the name of an appropriate counseler and phone numberin your are for you to set up an appointment with.  
 
Check into that. Ours was a separate company then our employee benefits.
