More development towards the Trans Canada...

What I would like to see is major projects done up on the North Hill in both the Private and Public sectors. One item that needs addressing is the highways and roads. The TC should be elevated and overpasses be set up at the First and Eighteen street intersections with a proper set of exits and service roads and city streets to truly be connecting with one another. Thus, allowing land to be fully developed up there. Outlet stores and big box development could easily fill in the area between the airport and Braecrest Drive. First and Eighteenth streets need to be completed as four lane routes (possibly six lanes in spots) all the way to the 110 at the South side of the city. The idea of having info. signs of businesses before and in the exits on the TC, like on some Interstates would be beneficial for the city as well. Continuing on with the public sector... a helipad on the hospital, photo radar & red light cameras, a sports/community center on the far West end of the city, an indoor soccer pitch, parks and tennis courts in the Southwest end, a K-8 school in the South end, brand new K-12 french school in the Southwest corner, a full conversion of ACC to become a new high school, complete transfer & building/expansions up at the new ACC location, joining 26th st. to 18th at Hilton, the redevelopment or removal of the 1A West underpass at Kemnay, plus the twinning of Richmond Ave West, 34th street end to end and 26th street South all to the Patricia. For private services... VIA rail service restored within city limits, an outlet/big box center up by the TC (including Costco, Toys 'r us, Old Navy, Rona, etc..), real effort in private downtown development for local businesses, water slides, a pre-owned auto mall, batting cages, a decent computer/electronics store that services what they sell and more family entertainment establishments (laser tag, Virtual games, mini golf, trampoline joint, amusement park settings, etc...).
All of this will take years of planning and an great deal of money. ...So, who''''s for it? ...And how much money do we have?
Just my opinion, I could be wrong.
