Has anyone flown to Acapulco? It seems almost impossible to get there from here (or too cost-prohibitive).

You mean from Winnipeg? Nothing from Brandon. We did a few years ago directly. Can’t remember the cost it was a package deal all inclusive.

We used to travel there every year but haven't been back in several years. Acapulco isn't what it used to be. It is Mexico's murder capital and likely one of the most violent areas. But you should be able to fly from Winnipeg. Or even fly to Calgary and figure out a flight down. Fares be likely in the $800-$1000 range.

how to get to Mexico's murder capital? where 15 people were killed by the cartel at beach resorts this weekend? better question is Why would you want to go there?!

The easiest way is to fly into the Capital, take the metro to the correct bus station, and bus it from there.
