for people who have been, going down for a week in the fall never been. Go straight for Disney stay on site do a park each 6 days we are there, OR stay at a water park hotel offsite but near Disney and do that and maybe a couple days at Disney World?

I think Universal is more geared to older kids or teenagers and Disney would be better for younger kids, or an 8 year old anyways....

Universal is very child orientated. They have the Dr Suess park, Marvel for superhero fans, minions , shrek and spongebob all do fancy parades and character meets. Scooby do. Harry Potter, Woody Wood Pecker and toon town. Transformers. I loved it when I was there. Line ups were non existent when I was there. Wonderful park.

I found the hotels and rates and perks to be way better at universal than disney. I have stayed at disney springs hilton resort and was not a fan. If you stay at universal resorts, most have lazy river rides and splash pools on site at the hotel. Volcano bay was great to.

For going to Florida wat I attempt first?

at the end of November....this is our 3 rd. Trip....we are renting a 4 bedroom house with pool, much much cheaper than staying inside Disney. We stayed inside Disney & will never do it again. We are using airmiles for car rental....theme park tickets I would recommend not to get the park hopper as each park takes a full day and you won’t have time to go to another park....it is a waste of money....we are going to just buy the single park tickets....

It’s about that price for one adult and one child, plus souvenirs and food it would be about a $5000 trip, isn’t that kinda crazy? I have seen some deals with some “water park” hotels and wondered if staying there and going to Disney world from there a day or two at least to magic kingdom. 5000$ is a bit crazy for two people no???
