Everyone always says the Vegas is a cheap flight. Whenever I plug it into WestJet the flights come out to about $400 to $500 per person per way. How do I get the cheap deal or at least affordable deal?

do it as a vacation, flight both ways and hotel i:ncluded around $500

After a few scary ordeals on Allegiant planes, you couldn't pay me to take them.

weve been flying allegiant for ten years ...4-5 flights on average a year … not one disappointment don't be swayed on someones negativity

Went last year with Allegiant and had no problems at all! Did a vacation option through their website and it was super affordable!

Yea until you have to return. If I go for a week in Dec per say it is cheap going there but coming back is double. Plus who is going without luggage. I just priced round trip just from Winnipeg to Hamilton with one carry on and one checked bag....just over $400. This doesn't even get me to Vegas and back.

I agree. We fly yearly to Phoenix and usually to Vegas once or twice a year out of Minot and have had zero problems other then a delay due to a snow storm. I guess if you don't like pay $1000 and fly from here.

I fly to Vegas average 4 -5 times per year. Allegiant is generally pretty good for me, there have been the occasional delays due to weather or other factors, but I have never felt "unsafe" flying with them. Also recently they have changed out the majority of their aircraft to Boeing 737's so they fly the same equipment as Westjet now. Until Canada can get a reliable low-cost carrier I will continue to fly out of Minot. I understand that Flair Air is now an option but I don't know how great their track record is so far.... hope this helps in some way!

Try flying into LAX, renting a car and driving to Vegas. It's about a 5 hour drive but driving through the desert is something that can't be explained. It is really cool, or maybe really hot would be a better way to put it. I checked West Jet and there are a couple of dates in December you can fly from Winnipeg and return in 8 days for as little as $339 Canadian. Also check flights out of Brandon to LAX. I found a 5 night trip for $440 with no overnight stop overs. Cheap flights can be found. You just need to search them out.
