When traveling to Europe (Holland, Switzerland, Germany) what has been your best way to access currency for those countries?

You can get foreign cash from Scotia Bank. They have Euros there anytime. For Swiss Francs they order them in. It takes about a week. They only charge once no matter how many different currencies you get. We also just use our bank cards at reputable banks abroad. Beware that currency exchange places and no name hole in the wall ATMs can really cost you and depending on which country you are in can scam your information. Your hotel, tour guide or the internet will lead you to reputable banks. Just an FYI there is no free internet in Switzerland. We only had internet access in our hotel. It was unlike other countries where there is always public WIFI at McDonald's, Burger King and Starbucks.
