I'm thinking of heading here for a summer trip with my 7 yr old and would appreciate any recommendations on places to stay, attractions - which water parks were the best & what other non-waterpark attractions people would recommend (or what to avoid!). I'm debating between forking out the bucks for one of the bigger resorts with the waterpark included or camping & travelling to the various attractions so any feedback would be great! I'd be driving down so other than the mall of america, what else would people recommend in minneapolis if we decide to spend a nite there? Thanks!
