Mazatlan - what did u think?

I will be going to Mazatlan for a week in February and I was just wondering what kind of experiences other ebrandon-ers may have had if you have been there or in that area. Is there anything or anywhere you recommend going and anywhere i should stay away from? Any stories really about experiences down there would be appreciated
