The mrs and I are trying to figure where we should go on vacation. We'd like to fish, maybe a bit of hiking, relax on a beach, rent a boat to fish out of or just zip around in and golf or quad if it's possible.  
We've been to the Duck Mountains a few times and didn't catch a thing fishing and we don't want to do Riding Mountain.  
The furtherest I'm willing to drive is 4 hours.  
We don't have kids and we want to be able to have a few drinks during the evening.  
What have other here done that is worth the time?

Just got back from the provincial park at manipogo. Was excellent camp ground good fishing even just off the docks or just further down the point by the swimming beach

Beautiful beach, Grand Pines golf course, hiking, can fish from the bridge (no boats to rent). For evening drinks The Sandbar or Potenza's.

in the Porcupine Mtns. is only another couple of hours from the Ducks. Real nice campground, usually good fishing, quading and hiking but not many amenities although Swan River is about an hour away.

Just finished camping at Falcon Beach and it's a great campground. Very clean and quiet. Big beach with huge lake to fish on. Beside campground is mini golf, tennis, bocce ball and horseshoes. The 18 hole golf course is amazing.

go to rushing river provincial park about a half hour on the other side of kenora Ontario. you can fish rent canoes and kayaks, hike, beach go into kenora and do the lake of the woods boat tour,, etc it is about 4-5 hours but worth it..
