Thinking of going camping at Lake Minnewasta (Morden). But before I book I thought that I would check and see what other people thought of camping there. I have never been there before.

I have never been there, but my mom grew up in Morden and I remember her talking about 'Lake Mini Washtub'. LOL!

Seeing as nobody is replying about it, I will pipe up. We were there about 5 or 6 years ago. Got a site right beside the office, which was ok, but busy. They had just opened up the new lots on the west side and it was full from pipeline workers. Most of the sites are more open then we would like, but you may like that. The beach was quite good from what I remember. It was a nice walk or bike ride into town, thru the golf course and past the clubhouse, so that was handy. We have thought about going back, but still trying and liking other locations. Give it a try, you may love it!

Was there last weekend. Had to stay in the new part & even it's not bad. Drove around the old part & it's beautiful. I think you have to book way ahead for that though. Talking to neighbour's with kids & they loved the beach. Nice little store ..board walk etc. Think you would enjoy it.
