Anyone stay at this resort/rv park recently?  
 
Any good/ bad feedback and experiences appreciated.

We stayed there in August, and it was fabulous! The kids loved loved loved the pool, paddle boats, they fished, played at the playground, and just wandered around. There's lots of events (we didn't take any in when we were there) like movies outdoors and concerts.  
 
My only complaint was road noise. They are close to the highway, and with us having a tent trailer we found it a bit noisy (from the road, not the park itself). But otherwise I found it was worth the money for us.

we went this yr end of august and it was fabulous!! I have nothing negative to say about it. lots of stuff for kids to do. the waterpark had three pools for diff ages and 2 big water slides. there was live music at night at the pool. You can bring your own booze too walk everywhere with it and you can bring your own food into the pool area. they have movie night there where they sell mini donuts, popcorn, chips pop etc. kids were also using thst screen to play the wii. Big playground for kids and a catch and release trout pond with paddle boats which is all included in your wristbands. when we went it was halloween in the park so our kids dressed up and trick or treated throughout the campsite and we handed out candy. you can also decorate your campsite for prizes. They also do Xmas in the park one weekend in the summer too I belive you bring your own gifts for everyone in your own campsite and leave them wrapped with names and their "santa" delivers them it's such a great place !! I Def recommend it to everyone !!

where is Lilac resort?

Be prepared to shell out a fair bit of money if you plan on going with a family. We had 2 adults and 5 kids (one under 3) and it cost us just under $100 a night. There is a separate camping fee ( for only 2 persons) plus a $17/ night fee for anyone else staying overnight (per person 4 yrs and up). Mind you the $17 included the waterpark passes.  
Not bad if the weather is good but unfortunately it rained 3 out of 5 days we were there. Our bad luck I guess!  
Just wish you could pay a simple camping fee and buy daily swim passes as you needed them. Not be obligated to spent the $17/ person whether you use the pool or not.  
But it is a great resort! Extremely clean and well kept! Lots for everyone of all ages!

It's east of Winnipeg, just past the Ste. Anne/Steinbach turnoff on number 1. Can't miss it.
