Does anyone know if people just rent out their cabins for weekends? And if they do is there a website that you go to look at or does anyone know how it works?

Check under "Vacation properties for rent" in the eBrandon Classifieds - there are several Clear Lake cabins/cottages listed there. I would also try contacting the Wasagaming Chamber of Commerce http://discoverclearlake.com/ - they may know of a cabin owners' association or something similar and know if any owners rent their cabins. There are also the commercial operations whose business is renting cabins, suites, rooms, etc. - they should also be listed on the Chamber website.
