Love cooking? So do we! Join our kitchen team at Eastside Eatery! We are looking for potential candidates to fill our line cook, prep cook, and dishwashing positions. Prior food service experience would be an asset, but not a requirement!
Line Cooks:
Job Overview:
-Prepare food orders in a timely and accurate manner.
-Calling line and ensuring smooth execution during peak service hours.
-Ensuring your station is cleaned and stocked.
-Following all health & sanitary procedures.
-Assisting with other prep/cleaning tasks as needed
Requirements:
-Previous experience in a fast-paced food service establishment would be an asset.
-A strong understanding of different cooking techniques and procedures.
-Maintaining consistency in food quality.
-Ability to stand for long periods of time/lift heavy items.
-Good communication skills/team oriented attitude.
-Reliability, Availability to work a variety of days, evening, & weekend shifts.
-Food Safe certification is an asset, but not a requirement.
Prep Cooks:
Job Overview:
-Prepare ingredients (slicing, chopping, portioning)
-Ensuring food is labeled, dated, & stored appropriately
-Following all health & sanitary procedures.
-Ensuring your station is cleaned and organized.
-Assisting other kitchen staff with other tasks as needed.
Requirements:
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
-Following assigned tasks, while working efficiently.
-Providing a positive, team-oriented attitude.
-Standing for long periods of time/lift heavy items.
-Reliability, Availability to work a variety of days, evening, & weekend shifts.
-Food Safe certification is an asset, but not required.
Dishwasher:
Job Overview:
-Wash/Sanitize dishware, glassware, utensils, kitchen equipment.
-Ensuring cleanliness of the dish pit & following all sanitation procedures.
-Restockling cleaning solutions as needed.
-Removing garbage
-Assisting other kitchen staff with other tasks as needed.
-Completing other cleaning tasks during down time.
Requirements:
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
-Strong attention to cleanliness.
-Ability to stand for long periods of time/lift heavy items.
-Reliability, Availability to work a variety of days, evening, & weekend shifts.
